- Steps to follow for preparation:

Ways To Drink Coffee: The Marocchino
One of the most typical coffees in Italy, specifically Turin, is the marocchino. This delicious way of drinking coffee is made with coffee, chocolate, milk, or cream and cocoa, although it can be prepared in different ways, almost a different one in each cafeteria.
Although one might think that Marocchino’s name derives from Morocco, it seems that his name comes from the color of a ribbon that women wore in their hair holding the mane, and that it had the same dark brown color of this variety. To prepare a Marocchino, we need, in addition to a good espresso coffee, a spoon of dark chocolate or chocolate and hazelnut cream, Nutella type, milk foam, and cocoa powder.
We start by placing chocolate or Nutella in the lower part of the cup and pour the coffee over it. It is best to put the cup with the chocolate in our automatic coffee maker and let the machine make the coffee by pouring it drop by drop over the chocolate.
When the coffee is served, stir with a teaspoon to dissolve the chocolate well in the coffee, and once achieved, fill the cup with milk, cream, or milk foam. Some people prefer not to dissolve the chocolate and expose the different layers of different colors and flavors.
The next step is to fill the cup with a generous layer of milk foam or add cream and on it the foam. To make the foam, we will use the technique that I told you when talking about this ingredient and its difference with the coffee cream.
